Because, like you’ve probably experienced for yourself, there’s nothing like sugar to make you want more sugar! So if you want to cut down on something, cut down on sugar and carbs. The difference with protein, fat, and fiber is that they tend to satisfy your appetite, not rev it up. We kinda like that idea.
By the way, you’ll see on our packaging the term “net carbs.” Maybe you’re familiar with it, maybe not. But here’s the deal. Carbs that consist of either fiber or sugar alcohol (a natural sweetener) don’t have that spike effect on your blood sugar. So you can take those out of the equation. Which means, in the case of nush cakes, that you’re left with very few carbs to worry about. In fact, don’t worry about them!
